The Ravinia music festival 2010 lineup and schedule of events has been released. Chicago's premier summer music festival has an impressive lineup for 2010. Musicians and artists who are scheduled to perform include Crosby, Stills and Nash, Cheryl Crow, Nelly Furtado, Jethro Tull, Carrie Underwood, and an array a top notch classical performers.
A non profit organization, the Ravinia Festival actually starts in March and continues through to Labor Day mainly at Highland Park. The bulk of performances occur during the summer months in Chicago. The Ravinia Festival started in 1904 at what became known as the Ravinia Amusement Park. Since then Ravinia has grown into what it says is North America's largest annual music festival
The Ravinia festival is a big part of the summer calendar for many in Chicago with many free concerts an the schedule.
