Nelly Furtado releases 2nd track “Mi Plan” featuring Alex Cuba as part of the “iTunes Countdown To” Promotion…“Mi Plan”, same title which gives name to her 4th studio album and 1st completely in Spanish, is due for release on Sept 15. iTunes, the world's #1 online music store, kicked off on July 21st the "Countdown To" promotion with Nelly Furtado's upcoming album "Mi Plan", in an innovative move within the Latin Genre.
The promotion offers three exclusive pre-album release tracks from "Mi Plan", due to be released September 15th. After “Más”, released on July 21st, now Nelly's fans will be able to get the 2nd advance track, "Mi Plan", only available on iTunes before it hits stores.
“Mi Plan” is a special song for Nelly, not only because it gives the title to the album, but because it includes a special feature from Alex Cuba, talented Cuban singer-songwriter and musician which is a friend of Nelly and a close collaborator in this new adventure of composing and singing in Spanish. Her song “Mi Plan” talks about how being in love and happy are enough when everything else is not as clear. On September 1st, the third and last advance song will be released: “Bajo Otra Luz” (featuring Julieta Venegas and La Mala Rodríguez) available exclusively from Nelly’s “iTunes Countdown To” promotion.
