Nelly Furtado was in Nairobi for the shot of Emmanuel Jal song "Scars" that is sponsored by MuchFACT, an organisation that supports Canadian music by funding and promoting their music videos.
The location of the shoot was Kibera and it was shot by J Blessings.
Beside the music video shoot, Nelly performed at the graduation day ceremony of the Free the Children’s first all-girls secondary school in Kisaruni.
