WHY: Each
year, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association honours men and women
who courageously contribute to the advancement of human rights, human
dignity, fundamental freedoms and democracy in Canada and worldwide. We
recognize extraordinary human rights activists, lawyers, artists,
filmmakers, writers, athletes, journalists, and business professionals
for their passionate, fearless and unwavering commitment to human rights
and human dignity.
